I’m a motion designer, but long before using After Effects, I have always had strong passion for drawing and anime.
For my first attempt to make a frame by frame character animation, I have chosen Ashitaka, from Hayao Miyazaki’s epic movie ‘Princess Mononoke’, my most favorite story from Studio Ghibli.

I used Adobe Animate CC to design him and Adobe After Effects + Rubberhose plugin to design Kodamas, plants and bugs.

I hope you appreciate this little tribute.

Prima di imparare a usare After Effects e diventare motion designer, ho sempre avuto una passione per il disegno e gli anime.
Per il mio primo esperimento di animazione tradizionale fotogramma per fotogramma su un personaggio ho scelto Ashitaka, dal film ‘La Principessa Mononoke’, di Hayao Miyazaki, il mio preferito dallo Studio Ghibli.

Ho usato Adobe Animate CC per animare Ashitaka, mentre sono passato  ad Adobe After Effects + il plugin Rubberhose per i Kodama, le piante e gli insetti volanti.
