At the end of 2025 I was engaged by TIWI Studio in a team to product a video series to recap the major italian parties. My role was the After Effects animator for 2 of these videos.
I recieved some loops and some common scenes crafted from their art director and animator, but most of the scenes were animated by myself, with a lot of fun!
Tools and techniques
I drew the background bushes of the first scene in Adobe Animate CC but all the entire project are developed and animated in Adobe After Effects.
I have imported some free 3D models and I crafted a 2.5D rigged tunnel.
All the characters was animated with Limber plugin.

Brief
The agency wasn't sure if they would receive gameplay footage, so the initial request was for 30" of animation that could lives alone.
One of the main values of the project had to be inclusivity within the eSerieA gamers community.
So I thoung a fast travel of a gamer on his sofa which is catapulted on the vitual field witho other gamers.
Design
I got a huge creativity control in design and direction.
I chosen a very saturated palette, and I started to develop the main characters.
(surprisingly) the client requested very few changes for this project...
Too saturated!
One of the few requests made by the client was to touch up the skin color of the Caucasian players: the fuchsia was too strong!

Tools and techniques
I mixed a lot of tools:
Photoshop and Illustrator with a Wacom One tablet, to design and illustrate.
After Effects and Limber plugin for the character animation and compositing.
Animate CC for frame by frame vfx and the "run" cut.
Cinema 4D to model and move the 3D backgrounds.
