Ocular Lab engaged me to help their to create a explainer video for Up2You's main product: Neutral Company, a tool that aims to reset the carbon footprint of companies.
Under their supervision, I had a lot of freedom to develop the entire project in almost every part.
This project will give a lot of satisfaction: to the client, to the agency, but most of all, to me =D
Illustrations match with the brand and its design
With the script and the brandbook in my hands, I started to design the characters, some styleframe, and the storyboard, to get the first approval step.

In cahoots with the Ocular Lab guys, the process required a certain number of rework, specially on the illustrations, to reach the final form.
After that, i was able to start animating head first in Adobe After Effects.
Tools and techniques
I mixed a lot of tools:
Photoshop and Illustrator with a Wacom One tablet, to design and illustrate.
After Effects and Limber plugin for the character animation and compositing.
Animate CC for frame by frame vfx and the "run" cut. I used a reference for the run cycle.
Cinema 4D to model and move the 3D backgrounds.
